These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.shieldtune.com (the "Site"), operated by ShieldTune, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted with an updated effective date, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The Site provides general information about ShieldTune and its products and services, including "AI Mentor." Content on the Site is for general informational and marketing purposes only. Product descriptions, features, availability, pricing, and beta programs are subject to change without notice and do not constitute an offer or a binding commitment.
Access to and use of the ShieldTune application and any paid or beta services are governed by separate terms and agreements presented at the time of sign-up or purchase, not by these Terms.
Nothing on the Site constitutes professional, engineering, safety, regulatory, or technical advice, and nothing on the Site should be relied upon to perform HVAC or other field service work. Any technical guidance is delivered only through the ShieldTune application, subject to that product's terms and safety disclaimers. Always follow official manufacturer documentation, applicable codes and regulations, your employer's procedures, and appropriate licensure and training.

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, images, page layout, and the "ShieldTune" name and marks — are owned by or licensed to ShieldTune, LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the Site for lawful, non-commercial purposes. You may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.
ShieldTune, LLC is an independent software provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or formally associated with any equipment manufacturer. Manufacturer names, product names, and logos referenced on the Site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only for identification and descriptive purposes.
The Site may link to third-party websites and resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHIELDTUNE, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHIELDTUNE, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShieldTune, LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina for any dispute arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ShieldTune, LLC regarding the Site.
