ShieldTune, LLC ("ShieldTune," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain information when you visit www.shieldtune.com (the "Site") or contact us through it.

Scope. This Policy covers the ShieldTune marketing website only. The ShieldTune application ("AI Mentor" and related products) is governed by a separate privacy policy provided within that product.

1. Information We Collect

Contact form submissions. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), and the content of your message.
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. This includes your approximate location (derived from IP address, which Google truncates), device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, and the site or search that referred you.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) automatically logs standard request data such as IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, and timestamp for security and reliability purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so does not affect your ability to use the Site.

The Site does not offer user accounts and does not knowingly collect payment information.

To understand and improve how the Site performs and which content is useful
To maintain the security, integrity, and availability of the Site
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the Site, under their respective terms and privacy commitments:

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ShieldTune, LLC, our users, or the public. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to notice.

4. Data Retention

Contact form submissions: retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission unless a longer period is needed to address your inquiry or to comply with law.
Analytics data: retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings (currently up to 14 months), after which it is aggregated.
Server logs: retained for up to 12 months for operational and security purposes.

5. Security

The Site is served exclusively over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We rely on the security measures of our hosting and form providers to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a professional and business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@shieldtune.com and we will delete it.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out of "sale" is required. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@shieldtune.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law (generally 30–45 days).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
